8th March : INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

8th March : INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

On the day of International Women's Day on 8th March, 2022, in honor of all the women, we reached a tribal village on behalf of Dinabandhu Foundation. Sanitary napkins, soap, some dry food and biscuits, crispy fried beaten rice and soap were distributed to the women of the tribal village. Health drinks are given to pregnant mothers.

We are starting a campaign to help every underprivileged girl/woman by giving them
FREE eco-friendly sanitary napkins today. One girl will be getting 7 pads of napkins (atleast 1 Month package).

Request you to join us and help us in serving the needy girls and females who avoid using sanitary napkins due to financial reasons. Along with the children of the village were given cakes, biscuits, sweets, snacks, chocolates, fruits, crispy fried beaten rice.

The girls work side by side with the boys. But girls they do not pay attention to their own health. On that particular day of the month they use pieces of cloth but they do not know how deadly it can be, even to the point of death. Even if they know, they cannot afford to buy sanitary napkins. So Dinabandhu Foundation reached out to them today. Our organization will continue to distribute free sanitary napkins in tribal village.

Menstruation is an integral and normal part of every women's an girl's life. It is fundamental to their dignity and wellbeing, and is an important part of their basic hygiene, sanitation and reproductive health services. Unfortunately, because of taboos and stigma, at least 500 million women and girls globally lack adequate facilities for menstrual hygiene management.

Only 12% females in our country use sanitary pads, its an issue which is overlooked yet its very vital for good health of women and girls/lack of correct knowledge also dampens their spirit and hampers their dreams.

Free sanitary napkins will be distributed to brick kiln, rural girls, new mothers. As we all are aware that most poor or illiterate girls don’t know about PADS during her period days, So Under this campaign our volunteers will visit brick kilns/rural area/slum area for creating awareness among adolescent girls and women about the significance of using sanitary napkins.

#ThePadEffect is a campaign to make you aware of the harmful effects of sanitary pads – for your body, for the environment, and for society.
We must collectively make the switch to sustainable menstruation.
